Indian Premier League 2021 is scheduled to begin in Chennai on April 9. Defending champion Mumbai Indians take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. The play-offs and final will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. KKR will play its first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11, 2021, at Chennai.
All matches are played in neutral locations. Each team plays at only four of the six venues during the league stage. The tournament will be played behind closed doors.
