England looks like the hot-bed as cricket boards are deciding their ways to resume playing after a short duration of a halt due to the pandemic situation. Currently, it looks like cricket will resume with the 3 Test series between England and the West Indies. The series was originally scheduled to happen in June; however, as the England and Wales Cricket Board had suspended competitive cricket till July 1, the series will take place in July.
Pakistan is also ready to send their 25 man squad to England for a ‘bio-secure’ series from the end of July. The first of the 3 match Test series is scheduled to get underway from July 30 with the final match finishing on August 24, while the 3 T20I series will start from August 29 to September 2.
The England and Wales Cricket Board have made their arrangements for the 18 international matches to be played in the country this summer. The board has currently spent a significant sum behind hand sanitizers and will send a charter airplane to the West Indies to fly their team to England.
Now according to a report, the ECB has also planned to send out charter airplanes to Pakistan to fly their Test and T20 teams for the series starting from the end of July. The England Cricket Board, is, nevertheless, still to confirm any such developments which look highly possible.
The series against England will mark the return of international cricket for Pakistan after a short duration of a halt due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
