South Africa’s T20I Cricket team has reached Lahore to play the 3-match series against the home side. Currently, the squad stays in the hotel and can start training once the team clears their Covid-19 tests.
The top players of South Africa in the T20s in the likes of Quinton de cock, Rassie van De Dussen, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortije, all are going back home after the conclusion of the 2-match test series.
The squad will be led 1st time by Heinrich Klassen, with uncapped seamer Okuhle Cele, wicket keeper Ryan Rickleton and batsman Jacques Snyman.
Both teams will enter the bio-secure bubble from Wednesday, February 3. The players taking part will join the bubble at the end of the 2nd test match starting in Rawalpindi on Thursday, February 4.
The two sides will feature in a 3-match series at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 11, 13, and 14. It will be 1st time the two sides will be in action in the shortest format of the cricket game on Pakistani soil.
