Glenn Maxwell Withdraws from The Hundred Tournament Citing Workload Reasons
Australia’s star all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell, has made the decision to pull out of The Hundred tournament in England due to his workload. Maxwell was set to play for the London Spirit but was advised by Cricket Australia to withdraw from the event in order to prioritize the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup in the upcoming years.

Fellow Australian cricketer, Mitchell Marsh, will also not be participating in The Hundred tournament.

He emphasized that the newly launched Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament in America is a much more attractive option for overseas players due to its shorter duration, larger crowds, and less demanding schedule. Maxwell concluded by praising the MLC structure and its appeal to players.
